field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<p>\nRIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with the President of Chad\u2019s Transitional Military Council Mahamat Idriss Deby in Jeddah, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe pair discussed bilateral relations and cooperation in all sectors of mutual interest.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe meeting was attended by Saudi\u2019s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Minister of State Prince Turki bin Mohammed, and Musaed Al-Aiban, minister of state, cabinet member, and national security adviser.<\/p>\n<p>\nAlso present were Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, Advisor at the Royal Court Ahmed Qattan, and the Kingdom\u2019s ambassador to Chad, Amer bin Ali Al-Shehri.<\/p>\n<p>\nPresent during the meeting on the Chadian side was Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Mahamat Saleh Annadif and accompanying Chadian officials.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe two nations have maintained cooperation, exchanging phone calls and discussing issues of common interest over the past few years.<\/p>\n<p>\nOn Jan. 23, 2023, the Saudi crown prince received a message from the chairman of the Transitional Military Council of Chad, regarding relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe call came during a visit which saw the two nations\u2019 foreign ministers hold discussions on various bilateral issues, and regional and international concerns.<\/p>\n<p>\nCrown Prince Mohammed had previously met with Deby on April 27, 2022, for talks on issues of mutual concern and benefit.<\/p>\n<p>\nDeby had arrived in Jeddah earlier that week and was received by the Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khaled Al-Faisal.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe two countries\u2019 officials have been in regular contact.
