Dubai were resolved amicably this year, with each case taking an average of just 13 days to settle.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"story-block\">\n<p>According to Dubai Courts\u2019 Amicable Dispute Resolution Centre, a total of 1,239 disputes were resolved through mutual agreements in the first six months of the year, with settlements reaching Dh20.2 billion.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"PA_mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"cacher\">\n<div class=\"story-block\">\n<p>Besides, electronic requests at the centre were processed within an average of two hours, demonstrating high efficiency.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"story-block\">\n<p>\u201cThis accomplishment demonstrates the emirate\u2019s remarkable progress in adopting alternative litigation methods as an effective means of resolving commercial disputes,\u201d said Judge Khalid Al Hosani, head of the Courts of First Instance in Dubai Courts.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"story-block\">\n<h3>High-level legal services<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"story-block\">\n<p>He said the success in dispute redressal reinforces Dubai\u2019s commitment to provide high-level legal services that meet the needs of the business community, contributing to creating an attractive and competitive investment climate.
